A little about the HopeFloats approach…

Creating and cultivating a positive learning environment is our priority. We want to foster trust and understanding so you feel comfortable to progress at your own pace and feel good about your personal achievements. We do not use any methods that use force, fear or trauma when teaching water safety and swimming.

Our process is based on progressive skill building blocks. After you become familiar with the water, breath control and submersions, you will learn to float. Floating is the most important foundational swimming and safety tool you will learn. After floating on your front and back are mastered, we move onto propulsion, rhythmic breathing and stroke development.
